Ann Arbor is a bustling university town where many young professionals call home, and most of its populations have moderate political views.

Despite its diversity and wallet-friendly cost of living, the Washtenaw County Health Department has decried the unfortunate increase in opioid addiction; more than sixty Ann Arbor residents died from opioid use in 2020 alone.

More so, a study by the University of Michigan found about 11% of high school seniors reported prescription drug misuse during the past year, 70% of whom struggled with substance use disorder while obtaining drugs from multiple sources.

The good news is that Ann Arbor boasts world-class, affordable rehab centers available to treat individuals of every age struggling with substance use and mental health disorders.
